Fresh Chocolate Pudding: Quick & Easy

Written by Bruce Tretter on . Posted in Blog

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been talking about easy to make and fantastically flavorful salads and salad dressings – and although I LOVE that stuff, right now it’s time to get downright decadent. And I mean decadent in the best possible and most innocent but incredibly delicious of ways. I’m talking about “shoot a Cupid’s arrow right through my warm chocolate heart!” And why not? Valentines Day is right around the corner.

So how ‘bout we talk about how to make a fully satisfying fresh chocolate pudding that’s really almost just as easy to make as instant pudding from a package but so very much more flavorful.  Now, the beauty of this recipe is that you can you either make it low-fat if you use either 1% or 2% milk and don’t use the optional chocolate chips, or you can turn up the flavor volume decadently high by adding chocolate chips - I love the combination of dark and white chocolate chips - that’ll really make the chocolate in that pudding sing out loud.

Here are the ingredients and...
